Designed by Fi Douglas, the watercolour painter behind Bluebellgray, this striking rug combines handpainted studies of flowers and foliage with effervescent hues of blue, yellow and pink. Inspired by the flowers found in the Majorelle Garden in Morocco, the tropical design will add a brilliant burst of colour and warmth to your interior. The flowers have been carefully woven using wefts of silk-like viscose, giving the design a smooth, velvety texture and gorgeous shimmer under light.This rug has been handtufted from pure new wool with touches of viscose, to create a luxuriously dense loop pile that is soft underfoot. Wool rugs are highly durable and hard-wearing, quickly recovering their shape after furniture compression, making them ideal for rooms with heavy furniture such as bedrooms and living rooms. A natural wax coating ensures that the pile is highly stain resistant, ensuring that the bright design will stay clean for longer periods of time with minimal upkeep.
