Add a touch of culture to your hallway with this beautiful oriental runner, handknotted in the Aktscha district in the Jowzjan province of northern Afghanistan. Dyed an intense shade of red, as is traditional of Afghan rugs, the main focal point of the striking design is an intricate repeat pattern of Gul and Akrep motifs, which makes up the centre of the piece.

Handknotted from pure wool, this runner is of superb quality, possessing a thick, sturdy pile that is soft to touch. Wool is highly durable, with good stain resistance and a natural flame retardancy, making it well-suited for the busier areas of your home. Carrying a refined sense of artistry and culture, it is perfect for adding a traditional look to your interior.
