About Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa
Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa champions local craftsmanship and heritage, from pieces of art and furniture by independent makers and artists to the locally sourced food served in their renowned restaurants and the glass of Five Farms Irish Cream served as you are welcomed to the hotel. We have worked with the owner of Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, Des O'Dowd, for several years, sourcing luxury rugs in keeping with the hotels timeless aesthetic.
Stepping Into Luxury
We worked closely with the team to curate a collection of one-of-a-kind Persian rugs to place in the expansive lobby. Persian rugs are skilfully handknotted by artisans using the finest natural materials and are exceptionally durable, making them perfectly suited to high-traffic areas. In total, we sourced three Persian rugs for this luxurious space, which included Bidjar rugs and an incredible handknotted Tabriz rug. These pieces sit beautifully in the space, in keeping with the tranquil yet refined ambiance of the hotel whilst paying homage to the hotel's commitment to quality and heritage.
Executive Suite
A luxurious rug from our Riviera Collection provides the perfect foundation for one of the hotel's exclusive suites. The newly designed suite offers spectacular ocean views, with the interiors perfectly enhancing the breathtaking landscape. We chose a handknotted Riviera Rug to complement the calm and tranquil interior. The rug's elegant high-low pile and soft neutral tones beautifully accentuate the surrounding spectacular landscape.
