The Morris & Co Borage Blue 131008 has been crafted with the utmost care and dedication to tradition, this collection celebrates the exceptional artistry of Nepalese handknotting.
Every rug is meticulously handknotted from Tibetan Wool by skilled artisans, tying thousands of individual knots to recreate the flowing lines and rich detail of Morris & Co.’s iconic archival designs. This timeless, labour-intensive process gives each piece a luxurious, heavy pile and a beautifully unique character underfoot, ensuring that these classic patterns endure for generations to come.
Originally conceived by William Morris in 1883 as a furnishing fabric, Borage’s spirited floral pattern and multiple axes of symmetry draw direct inspiration from the natural world. Reintroduced here as a luxurious handknotted rug, this lively design brings a beautiful point of visual interest to any floor in a classic, heritage Blue.
Please note that there is limited stock available of these styles as they are primarily available for made-to-measure orders priced at €1,499 per square metre. There is a minimum price charge of 4 square metres. We are delighted to offer complimentary Design Consultations in-store and online to help you choose the perfect rug.
